About Me
Throughout my educational journey, I have been passionate about meeting student needs and empowering educators to achieve their full potential. My MTSS adventure began as principal of a 7th through12th grade secondary school involved in the University of Louisville Academic and Behavioral Response to Intervention (ABRI) Project. During this work, I was coached by Drs. Amy Lingo and Terrance Scott, whose leadership in PBIS and MTSS helped shape my understanding of an integrated framework supporting both academic and behavioral success. We were at the forefront of developing what is now known as MTSS.
Since then, I have had the pleasure of consulting for the University of Louisville and the ABRI Project, teaching graduate students, and guiding capstone projects. My experience extends across school, district, regional, and state levels, including support for both public and charter schools. Throughout the years, I have partnered with schools and districts in urban, suburban, and rural settings supporting MTSS implementation at all levels.
What truly sets my consulting apart is the combination of my secondary school leadership experience with MTSS, my work across school, district, regional, and state systems, and my doctoral research on collective leadership practices that drive high-performing schools. I work with leadership teams to strengthen data-based decision-making, maximize collaboration, and build a sustainable system. I frequently support leadership teams in strengthening Tier 1 systems, improving team structures, and aligning an integrated MTSS implementation process.
If you are looking to transform your MTSS approach and achieve lasting success, I would welcome the opportunity to partner with you to make it happen. Let’s work together to build a stronger team, develop sustainable implementation plans, and maximize student success and educator effectiveness.
and so much more...
When I am not studying, consulting, or working with districts, I love spending time with family and friends. I love to travel, read, and take walks on sunny days.
